  • SUNIL V IYER


For the past 6 years, Sunil has been working as a consulting grant writer and communications (C4D) specialist with various NGOs in Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi. Prior to this, for almost two decades, he travelled across India with his camera and pen to delve into the symbiosis between people and their cultural roots, their belief systems, their environment and the political clime that affects every other parameter in the developmental sector. He also ghost-writes for wannabe authors and his travel stories and images have been featured in several major national and international magazines and guidebooks. He has authored 12 books on art, culture and travel. His latest book 'The Peddler of Stories' is in the children's genre.

SHAYONI MITRA

      

Armed with a Masters Degree in English literature from Jadavpur University (Kolkata) and an eye for the unusual,  Shayoni has been an editor, proofreader and writer for several years. She also used to teach English to high school and college level students from various curriculum backgrounds. She was a resident of Mumbai for thirteen years and is now back in her hometown Kolkata. In her free time she likes to try her hand at photography and has contributed a number of images for her book “Rivers of India” (published 2011) which she co-authored. 


Key Strengths: 

  • As a grammarian very few grammatical errors escape her scrutiny.
  • Shayoni is equally adept at editing and proofreading fiction, non-fiction and educational books.
  • Publishing houses often get in touch with her for editorial reviews to determine book saleability.

Jayashree Jayaraman

Jayashree Jayaraman is a competent social sector professional with almost three decades of experience who started her career as a lecturer at the University of Delhi. She has extensive research experience in various social focus areas like education, empowerment of women and healthcare. Jayashree is adept in the implementation of programmes for the community and has a strong exposure in managing programmes at the execution and policy levels. She has a sound understanding of the principles of funding programs of a social nature.  


Jayashree has managed projects for various NGOs. Her roles have included formulating budgets, forging partnerships, and mobilising resources through CSR funding. She possesses excellent communication skills that have been honed through her interaction with stakeholders in the development sector, policymakers, luminaries of civil society and corporate leaders.  


Her educational background includes an M Phil in Political Science. As a consultant she has been associated with Save the Children Fund, Ministry of Women & Children and has participated in Beijing plus 5 at the United Nations. Her last assignment was with the Rotary International South Asia Office, where she handled programme implementation and CSR for 18 years. She has participated in international conferences and has trained Rotarians for various assignments.  She is a keen advocate of children’s education and supports an orphanage in Delhi. She is also trying to set up a geriatric home on the outskirts of Chennai.
